Leather Wrapped Wing Fan Smudge Kit

Name: Leather Wrapped Wing Fan Smudge Kit - Tribal Spirit
SKU: SMUDGEKIT-pinoin-wing-fan
Availability: InStock

Price range: 72.61 $USD through 104.88 $USD

Tis the season that we gather feathers and we are making NEW fans. We are offering two new Smudge Kits with our bestest Fan ever.

Earlier this season we gathered a bunch of wings from local hunters who were harvesting the meat but would have discarded the wings. We selected the best of them and dehydrated and wrapped them with moose leather. We have put together our two most popular Smudge Kits to go perfectly with this large fan. The fan is made from the Pinion section of the wing…..between the elbow and end of the wing. (did you know it was called the pinion? lol)

Smudge Kit 1) Includes a linen bag of white sage, a large abalone shell and a leather wrapped goose wing, which all comes in a large linen bag that has a tie to keep everything safe inside.

Smudge Kit 2) Includes all the traditional Four Medicines, linen bags of Semah, Cedar, White Sage, a braid of Sweetgrass and a large Abalone Shell with a leather wrapped goose wing.

** Feather fans can only be shipped within Canada.

I buy all the hide and fur I use for making moccasins from Tribal Spirit. The quality is amazing, and the variety is much appreciated. I also really love the traditional medicines they have available. There is often a kind note in the delivery - handwritten telling you that they sent a little extra. 🥺 As a customer, I feel a connection with this store - from the descriptions they create to describe a colour of hide, to the small batch herbal remedies, to the very fast response and kind you’ll receive if you have a question. 10 stars.

I only order my mitt and mocc leather from tribal Spirit. The owners are phenomenal and very invested and proud. I have been ordering from them every year for about 6 years and there has never been an issue they couldn't fix. I recommend to all my students to purchase from this amazing Canadian, indigenous company. Thank you again for being the amazing suppliers that you are!

I'm a first time beader making my first pair of plains style moccasins, and looked for a reputable brand with good prices for quality leather. Tribal Spirit did not disappoint! I ordered deer leather, and am very satisfied with the skin's quality. So soft you can see my hand print! Ahéhee' Tribal Spirit!
