Turquoise ‘Moose Tanned’ Cow 3.5 ounce

Introducing 3.5oz Turquoise “Moose Tanned” Cow. The moose hunting season was not huge in the Laurentians this year…So we decided to focus our moose hides in natural tones. So that meant that we needed an alternative for our 3.5oz leather for all our crafters that love colours but need something thicker than 2.5oz deer. We know that cow leather is widely available and that was our solution!

This leather is kinda a deep fake on deer leather.  It look and feel exactly like Moose…but they are HUGE.  ‘Moose Tanned’ Cow is very popular for production work or crafting when you really need lots of leather but you don’t want to deal with waste.  Working with wild hides always is a challenge when doing you have to make a TON of something.  For example if a school that needs to make 200 medicine pouches, working with ‘moose tanned’ cow is MUCH more efficient that with wild deer hides.
