Within the Indigenous community, we practice the laying down of Semah (tobacco) as a form of prayer, or thanks or offering. Most of us carry Semah with us when we need it. (These offering can also include Sage or Cedar.) We have designed 2 very practical pouches expressly to help with these offerings.
We came up with 2 styles. Our ‘Belt Loop’ version will travel conveniently on any ‘normal’ sized belt. Our ‘Over the Shoulder’ has an interior cinch tie to hold everything safe and then a long thin moose strap that can be slung over your shoulder. This bag is easily modified if you would prefer to shorten the strap to just carry the bag or even tie it to somewhere in your vehicle. These bags have a very ‘old school’ vibe with long fringe and we built them suede out.
