Description du produit

Our full selection of Moose hide hand drums. From our 12″ drum up to our biggest Moose drum at 17″. (Our standard colour for the dyed drum is Walnut… if you would prefer a different colour, please leave us a note during checkout). Folks often ask us about the difference between moose and buffalo drums. The truth is that, they are VERY similar drums, Both great big tonality, serious vibration and both used for healing work. Both moose and buffalo are VERY good at resisting humidity challenges. All hand drums come with a drum stick. For meditation or sound work both are incredible. We generally send out a hard head drum stick with our moose and buffalo because the hard head pulls out the perfect tones of these drums. SO the difference? I have been told that historically they evolved from the same animal…but moose evolved as solitary animals while buffalo are more family/group oriented. Of our hides, moose are wild animals while our buffalo are farmed. Feel free to ask if you have more questions on this subject. Add a Patchwork moose drum bag to protect your drum and get $50 off the set. The absolute BEST way to protect your drum from humidity changes is to cover your drum in leather…the classiest way is with one of our beautiful drum bags. In our options we offer natural or walnut dyed, but if you want a different colour please mention it in the “Order Notes” while checking out. Please see picture examples of our Patchwork Bags and feel free to use you imagination. (tell us your colour preferences in comment box while checking out or we will pick a combination of natural colours for your bag)

Nous vivons au Canada et expédions aux États-Unis.

I buy all the hide and fur I use for making moccasins from Tribal Spirit. The quality is amazing, and the variety is much appreciated. I also really love the traditional medicines they have available. There is often a kind note in the delivery - handwritten telling you that they sent a little extra. 🥺 As a customer, I feel a connection with this store - from the descriptions they create to describe a colour of hide, to the small batch herbal remedies, to the very fast response and kind you’ll receive if you have a question. 10 stars.

I only order my mitt and mocc leather from tribal Spirit. The owners are phenomenal and very invested and proud. I have been ordering from them every year for about 6 years and there has never been an issue they couldn't fix. I recommend to all my students to purchase from this amazing Canadian, indigenous company. Thank you again for being the amazing suppliers that you are!

I'm a first time beader making my first pair of plains style moccasins, and looked for a reputable brand with good prices for quality leather. Tribal Spirit did not disappoint! I ordered deer leather, and am very satisfied with the skin's quality. So soft you can see my hand print! Ahéhee' Tribal Spirit!
