We make four different styles/designs of fans which can be used for smudging or dancing. For quite some time now we have had requests to offer these separate from our smudge kits and so we have make it nice and simple. Our four fans are Small Leather Wrapped, Maple Wood Stick Fan & Large Cedar Wood Leather Wrapped Fan. We are not hunters but we are the BEST gatherers ever. We have developed relationships over the years with hunters who are feeding their families but didn’t need the feathers. They would have been thrown in the garbage. But rather…we bring down a large freezer and as they a butchering the birds they put the wings and tails into the freezer….once full we got pick it up and then process the feathers making our most amazing fans.

  I buy all the hide and fur I use for making moccasins from Tribal Spirit.  The quality is  amazing, and the variety is much appreciated.  I also really love the traditional medicines they have available. There is often a kind note in the delivery - handwritten telling you that they sent a little extra. 🥺 As a customer, I feel a connection with this store - from the descriptions they create to describe a colour of hide, to the small batch herbal remedies, to the very fast response and kind you’ll receive if you have a question.  10 stars.

  I only order my mitt and mocc leather from tribal Spirit. The owners are phenomenal and very invested and proud. I have been ordering from them every year for about 6 years and there has never been an issue they couldn't fix.   I'm a first time beader making my first pair of plains style moccasins, and looked for a reputable brand with good prices for quality leather. Tribal Spirit did not disappoint! I ordered deer leather, and am very satisfied with the skin's quality. So soft you can see my hand print! Ahéhee' Tribal Spirit!
