Freshly harvest Bear Root: Bear Root, also known as Osha is traditionally used to treat respiratory illnesses such as the common cold or bronchitis. BUT it is also VERY popular among Powwow Singers, cuz nothing soothes over worked vocal cords like Bear Root. We have a customer who is an opera singer who absolutely worships the healing properties of Bear Root, swearing to us that “we would make millions if we market Osha directly for singers.” lol. But seriously ever traditional medicine chest should have some Bear Root in it, and cold season is coming. You can either bit off a bit of the root and such on it. It tastes sort of like a celery. Or it can also be steeped in hot water and drunk as a tea. Our Osha is harvested in the Rocky Mountains.

Singers will bite off a bit of root and stick it up under your lip and then just sucking/chewing on it will seriously ease a soar throat. Keep your voice sweet and strong all weekend long!! (you can also make a tea with it) Our Osha is harvested in the Rocky Mountains.

  I buy all the hide and fur I use for making moccasins from Tribal Spirit.  The quality is  amazing, and the variety is much appreciated.  I also really love the traditional medicines they have available.
