An absolutely One-of-a-Kind Creation. Over the past few months, Joywind has been gathering some squares of moose that that have very dramatic scarring on them. Moose are very VERY rugged animals that, when they see a fence…they plow through it rather than jumping over….SO moose hides often have lots of healed scars in the skin. We can’t really send these scared hides to customers who are making moccasins or clothing, so we like to be creative with them.
This Scarred Moose leather Throw or Cover measures about 58″ square. The leather is very soft and has a pretty good weight to it. We have one that we use as the cover on our couch and we just love the feel of sitting on it. The flip side is suede, not lined. It would also work great as a bed cover.
