Summer 2024 Harvest
This sage is harvested in the Valleys around Osoyoos British Columbia. It is probably the sweetest Sage we have ever smelled and very specific to a small area. It is not as easy to light as white sage…but once lit, a small amount will fill your house with sweet sage for hours.
Like most sages used in ceremony this is a cleansing and purifying sage. It doesn’t roll up quite as nice as Prairie sage, but it is still soft and can be easily balled up for use in a pipe. We are very careful to harvest our Mountain Sage before it flowers or produces seeds. It has been cleaned, de-leafed with no stems and dried…the way it should be!!
